Apprentice of the year finalist!
Congratulations to Anya Morte, our apprentice who has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Apprentice of the Year Awards!
Anya, Our Director Gary and Dawn Anya’s mentor, will be attending the awards on the 15th of May in Sheffield.
Anya started with Clemence Rogers in October 2017, she quickly realised that she would need to learn all aspects of the role and was more than happy to get stuck in and learn the basics.
Anya has fully committed herself to her apprenticeship and the role and opportunity that Clemence Rogers have offered her. She always shows eagerness to learn and her end goal is to become a Trainee Recruitment Consultant.
She has picked up the basics very quickly, her confidence has grown on the telephone and she has now begun to contact candidates helping them look for new job opportunities.
Anya has showed her commitment to the local area and charities by organising a number of charitable events.
In December, Anya organised the Trax FM Toy Appeal, she designed the leaflet, sent out a mailshot to all of our clients on the database and visited various businesses in Auckley handing out leaflets and getting Clemence Rogers known locally and as a charitable business, the result was outstanding.
Anya and our Administrator Alice have successfully completed an the Easter Egg Appeal for children who are currently in Sheffield children’s hospital, for the appeal, Anya designed the Easter Egg Appeal leaflet and a template for bond ( our in-house system ) She then was able to send an email to all of our clients asking if they would like to donate any Easter Egg, this was a very similar process to the Trax FM Toy Appeal visiting various businesses and networking in Ackley. Anya, Alice and our MD Gary have delivered 120 Easter eggs to the hospital.
Caroline Hewison, Anya’s Assessor from Doncaster College and University Centre added this statement when she found out that we have nominated Anya;
“Anya started the qualification on 13 October 2017 and currently has 55% of her work completed with 4 units fully achieved, being 17% in front of where she needs to be at this time. All tasks that I set she completes in full and I have no qualms about her achieving the qualification timely”
“Anya is a fantastic candidate who is motivated, keen, eager to progress and she is demonstrating an understanding of what is required. The learning she has already undertaken, as part of her qualification and within her job role, is being put into practice and I can see her growing with confidence in her job role”.
